In this novel, set in 13th Century Spain, a young man sets out on a personal quest, travelling on foot from Aragon to Toledo. The spiritual content avoids a single religious affiliation, reflecting a medley of beliefs deeply rooted in medieval Iberia, and the author conveys them in concise language.
